Hello my name is Michael Weinstein and I was raised in California than eventually moved to New York City for my BFA at the School of Visual Arts. After school I wanted to pursue film photography when realizing that photos are the only evidence of our memories in how we see life today.
The direction of my photography would be a nostalgic approach toward the theme of the picture. I use a 35mm on all shots with cool props like tvs, film negatives, photo slides, radios, and cameras to create an illusion of a past era. I’m just here to help everyone make better photos!
